Phoenix Parent-Child Class Series

Saturdays: October 5th & 19th, November 9th

Ages 3 months-12month (with caregiver) 8:15-9am

Ages 12 months-3 years (with caregiver) 9:30-10:15am

Join us with your little one(s) and enjoy a child-centered class founded on the principles of healthy and holistic child development. During class, we will have a little snack, free and imaginative play, a circle with seasonal songs and fingerplays, and parent discussion. In the toddler classes we will be making bread buns and each child takes their bread home at the end of class. We look forward to engaging in nourishing experiences with your family.

Your Facilitators:

Meaghan Witri: Meaghan has worked with parents and families in a variety of capacities for over twenty years, including as an early childhood and parent-child educator and currently as the founder, main lesson teacher and mentor of a spirit-led education program in upstate NY called the Phoenix Initiative. Meaghan also works through consultation directly with parents and families in the home-setting offering practical support and understanding of child development from birth through adolescence, in the light of anthroposophy.

Elsa Gomez: Elsa is a Class Guardian and Main Lesson Teacher at the Phoenix Initiative. She has assisted and helped develop the Bridge program for 3 year olds as part of the Phoenix Early Childhood Program and assists in the Parent-Child classes. She is a trained Master Bodyworker and received her BS in Neuroscience. She offers homeschooling support for the math curriculum in the lower grades, as well as a Supported Rest clinic for parents and caregivers as part of her work.
